Nagaon Education Society was established in the year 1969 to foster education and nurture higher educational standards. The starting of the Society was the culmination of vision foresight of Hon'ble Shri Annasaheb D.W.Patil,M.L.A. who is the founder chairman of the Society. This Society was running 22 educational institutions.
The Gangamai College Of Engineering was established in the year 1991 with two branches ; Electronics & Telecommunication and Mechanical Engineering.One year later Instrumentation Engineering branch was introduced.
Our college is giving excellent result in comparison with the other Engineering colleges of the University, that is, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and has excellent Faculty and Laboratory facilities.
