The Hindustan Group of Instituitons was founded in 1966 by our founder and Chairman, Late Dr.K.C.G.Verghese. In the Sixties, our Chairman had realized the need for an institution that offers non-formal technical education. The establishment of Hindustan Engineering Training Centre (HETC) helped in the evolution of Hindustan Institution of Engineering Technology (HIET) which met this need.
